Ali Al Taiee
Geboren in Wien, 1963. Aufgewachsen in den späten Sechzigerjahren in London. Später auch in Bagdad zur Schule gegangen- Mit 15 Jahren nach Wien zurückgekommen. Nach der Matura Besuch der grafischen Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt für Grafik Design und infolge mit der Meisterklasse für Originalgrafik und Illustration abgeschlossen. Nach der Ausbildung Hinwendung zur Malerei so auch zur freien Grafik. Aufträge als Grafiker aber mit dem Schwerpunkt in der Malerei.

Born in Vienna, 1963. Grown up in the late Sixties in England. Bevor leaving to Baghdad, I had the pleasure to witness one of those famous concerts on the Isle of wight. It was rather noisy but not desturbing for my childs ears, felt something was coming to a change. Well, we all, me and my family left for Baghdad and a few things in England changed too, the roaring Sixties endet. We visited Vienna, the Homecity of my mother only in the summer holidays. In Baghdad things were realy diffrent in school and everywhere. 1978 I came back to Vienna to stay. Graduated and had the desire of becoming a painter. Firstly I studied at the „Grafische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt", the school for grafic Design in Vienna. After graduating from that school, I started to work as a grafic designer for a time, to start my real work on painting the pictures I so wanted.
